About the Auction

Conditions of Sale

Item condition: All goods are sold "as-is", customers are strongly encouraged to inspect the items of interest. One exception is artist signed paintings which carry a limited 7 day authorship guarantee.
Bidding: Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any and all bids and has the right to bid in behalf of our customers who cannot attend the sale. Left bids and phone bids are done only as a courtesy to our customers and we are not responsible for errors or omissions.
Items subject to reserve: Some items may have a price established by myself and/or the owner of the item. Bidding in behalf of the consigner will be executed by the auctioneer or a staff member.
Payment: All purchases must be paid for by the end of the auction day. Cash or good check is accepted as payment, however the auctioneer reserves the right to hold check purchases until check clears through the bank. Bad check writers will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Buyer Premium: A buyer's premium of 10% will be added to the bid price and is payable as part of the purchase price.
Sales Tax - Rhode Island sales tax is 7%. All items purchased are subject unless the purchaser presents a current copy of a Dealer Exemption Certificate.
Removal of Property - All sold items are to be removed at the purchaser expense. Any article not claimed without prior approval within 30 days will be removed and stored at the expense and risk of purchaser.
